Getting Started with Therapy
Information for individuals seeking counseling and for community professionals making referrals
You don’t need to read everything here—this page is meant to offer a simple starting point.
A Supportive First Step
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step—especially when life feels uncertain, overwhelming, or complex.
This page is here to help you understand what working with Bespoke Therapy Collective looks like and how to begin, if and when you feel ready.
You are welcome to reach out whether or not domestic violence is part of your experience.
Who We Work With
We provide counseling for adults and caregivers navigating a range of experiences, including:
-
Trauma and complex relational trauma
-
Stress, anxiety, or depression
-
Relationship and attachment concerns
-
Parenting challenges and family transitions
-
Grief and loss
-
Experiences of domestic violence, including post-separation dynamics
You do not need to have a specific label or diagnosis to reach out.
What Therapy Looks Like Here
Therapy at Bespoke Therapy Collective is collaborative, paced, and grounded in safety.
Our work often includes:
-
Moving at a pace that feels manageable and respectful
-
Understanding how your experiences have shaped patterns, relationships, and your sense of safety
-
Integrating trauma through relational, somatic, and evidence-based approaches (including EMDR when appropriate)
-
Creating space for your voice, needs, and sense of self

There is no expectation to share everything all at once.
For Caseworkers & Referral Partners
We welcome referrals from CPS caseworkers and community providers.
Consultation is available to support:
-
Determining fit
-
Clarifying referral questions
-
Coordinating care when appropriate and with client consent
We value collaboration while maintaining clear boundaries around client confidentiality and autonomy. We are familiar with working within systems while centering client choice and autonomy.
